Who we are

This app is a private wedding companion for the wedding of Osman Faisal & Noor e Imaan Muzzammil, operated by CodeIvy. For any privacy question, contact hello@suitsyoumedia.co.uk.

Data we collect

• Account details: your name and one contact identifier (phone number or email).
• Optional profile details you choose to add: photo, Instagram handle, a short bio.
• Content you submit: photos, videos, duas, song suggestions, chat messages, votes.
• Travel details you enter (e.g. flight number) to populate the arrivals board.
• Usage and diagnostics: feature usage and crash reports, to improve the app.

How we use it

To run the wedding experience — authenticate you, show the schedule, deliver notifications, display approved content, and keep the app stable. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted processors:

• Clerk — authentication (processes your phone number / email).
• Convex — application database and file storage.
• PostHog — privacy-conscious product analytics.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting.
• Expo / Apple / Google — push notification delivery.
• A flight-information provider — only when you look up a flight number.

Photos & consent

When you upload a photo or video you confirm that anyone clearly identifiable in it has agreed to be shared with wedding guests. All uploads are reviewed by a family administrator before they appear publicly. You can report any photo for removal.

Once approved, photos, gallery media, duas and guest book entries — including voice messages — also appear on the public wedding website, which anyone with the link can view and which remains live after the wedding as a memory archive.

What other guests can see

Other guests can see your name, photo, side, short bio and Instagram handle (if you add one). Your phone number and email are never shown to other guests.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data. The app provides “Download my data” and “Delete my account” in settings; deletion removes your account, your uploads, and anonymises your chat messages. You can also email us.

Retention & security

We keep your data for as long as the wedding archive remains live, then on request. Access is restricted and data is stored with reputable providers. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect it.
